Accompanied by her friend Kusha Kapila, Tamannaah chose a creation by designer Mayyur Girotra, with a dramatic floor-length jacket serving as the highlight of her outfit. Interestingly, the look also offers plenty of styling inspiration for anyone who wants to experiment with festive dressing without opting for the usual lehenga or saree.

The actor put together a sleek black bodysuit and a matching draped skirt, using the elaborate jacket to add colour and character to the otherwise understated combination. The open-front silhouette gave the ensemble a fluid finish, while its generous length made it an eye-catching festive layer.

The jacket featured an antique gold-toned base covered in elaborate embroidery. Colourful threadwork, bead embellishments and geometric patterns came together across the fabric, with accents of pink, blue, green and burgundy breaking up the earthy palette. Ornamental detailing along the front and hem added to its vintage-inspired appeal.

Tamannaah kept the rest of her styling relatively restrained. Layered gold chains and delicate rings provided just the right amount of sparkle without competing with the embroidery. Black pointed-toe heels completed the look.

For beauty, she opted for voluminous brown waves styled with a centre parting. Softly defined eyes, dark eyeliner, warm blush and muted rose lips rounded off her festive appearance.

Sharing pictures of her outfit on Instagram, Tamannaah credited Mayyur Girotra for the ensemble and Kusha Kapila's label Underneat for the styling collaboration. She also gave followers a closer look at the jewellery from her own brand, Tamannaah Fine Jewellery.

Among the pieces she wore were the Split Bezel Pendant, her 32-inch Flick Chain and the Mooncrest Diamond Ring. The combination offered a lesson in mixing statement clothing with personal jewellery favourites.

Tamannaah Bhatia on Annu Kapoor's 'dudhiya badan' remark

Away from fashion, Tamannaah recently addressed the controversy surrounding veteran actor Annu Kapoor's comments about her appearance during a discussion about her performance in 'Aaj Ki Raat' from 'Stree 2'.

Speaking at NDTV Profit Ignite 2026, the actor explained why she chooses to concentrate on her work rather than give undue attention to such remarks.

"I think that as a creative person, our most important task is to listen. And when we listen, what we keep and what we filter is very important to understand," she said.

She further added that allowing such comments to dictate one's attention could become an obstacle to moving forward. Tamannaah maintained that her priorities remain her acting career and the projects she wants to create.

The controversy dates back to October 2025, when Annu Kapoor appeared on YouTuber Shubhankar Mishra's channel. During the conversation, Mishra played a clip of Tamannaah performing 'Aaj Ki Raat', the popular track from the horror comedy 'Stree 2'. Reacting to the actor's appearance, Kapoor said, "Mashallah kya dudhiya badan hai."

The comment, which roughly translates to 'What a milky-white body', drew criticism on social media, with several users describing it as inappropriate and objectifying.
