Rashmika Mandanna has finally addressed the injury that kept her away from social media, reassuring fans that while the recovery has been painful, she is doing well.

The actor shared a detailed health update on Instagram, revealing that she was injured during the shoot of her upcoming film ‘Mysaa’. Although she had initially hoped to keep the incident private, she decided to explain what happened after reports about the accident began circulating.

Rashmika revealed that this was her third injury in a row and admitted that the experience has reminded her to slow down. She also explained that one of the tendons connecting her right hip to her leg got detached during the filming of a dance sequence. The tendon now needs time to heal before she can comfortably lift her leg again.

Despite the setback, the actor reassured fans that the pain is manageable. She wrote that it hurts, but is "not unbearable", adding that she is choosing to see the unexpected break as a reminder to rest after constantly pushing herself through work.

Calling it a "freak accident", Rashmika said the injuries she has experienced recently have all been completely unexpected. She also described ‘Mysaa’ as the most physically demanding project she has worked on so far.

With her regular workout routine temporarily on hold, the actor shared that she has been spending her recovery period solving puzzles. She joked that staying away from exercise has been the biggest challenge because she usually enjoys running and working out, and now has to resist becoming what she called a "dessert monster."

‘Mysaa’, directed by Rawindra Pulle and backed by Unformula Films, is billed as an emotional action thriller set against a tribal backdrop. The film also marks Rashmika Mandanna's first female-led pan-India action project and is slated for a 2026 theatrical release.
