Bigg Boss OTT fame Armaan Malik is facing criticism online after a comment about women’s appearance and marriage sparked a social media debate. The YouTuber, who is frequently in the spotlight for his relationship with wives Payal and Kritika Malik, came under fire after suggesting that women who dress casually at home should not complain if their husbands lose interest in them.

The controversy stems from a recent vlog in which Armaan was seen questioning Payal Malik over her choice of clothing. Despite having bought her a new night suit, he appeared upset when she stepped out wearing a T-shirt and shorts. Payal, however, explained that she had been occupied with taking care of their baby and that childcare was her immediate priority.

During the exchange, Armaan said, "Apne aap ko jitna grooming rakh sakte ho rakho" (Keep yourself as groomed as possible), before making a remark that quickly drew backlash online.

He further added, "Lower t-shirt mein ghumoge pati kaha pyaar karega. Thode din ke baad divorce de dega tumhe" (If you keep roaming around in lower and T-shirt, how will your husband love you? He will give you divorce within a few days).

The comments did not sit well with many viewers, who accused the content creator of reducing love and marriage to appearance. A section of social media users also felt that Armaan was unfairly targeting Payal.

Reacting to the viral clip, one user wrote, "Feeling sad for Payal" Another commented, "He himself is wearing a T-shirt. The audacity." A third user criticised the remarks as a reflection of a "toxic mindset," while several others questioned, “Why she is living with him?”

Many viewers also claimed that Armaan often appears more critical of Payal than his second wife, Kritika Malik, a perception that has surfaced repeatedly in discussions surrounding the family's vlogs.

For those unfamiliar, Armaan married Payal Malik in 2011 and the couple share four children, including their newborn son Rudra. They are also parents to Chirayu and twins Tuba and Ayan. In 2018, Armaan married Kritika Malik, who was previously Payal's close friend. Armaan and Kritika have a son, Zaid.
