Kannur: KSRTC is fulfilling the long-standing wish of regular travelers in the budget tourism cell by introducing Kollur-Mookambika pilgrimage trips, set for June 14, 21, and 28.

The journey kicks off from Kannur at 8 pm, arriving at Kollur by 4 am, next day. Pilgrims will have the opportunity to visit the revered temple before embarking on a jeep journey to Kudajadri. The evening will be spent visiting the Kollur temple once more. The following day, pilgrims will visit Udupi, Madhur and Ananthapura temples in the morning before returning to Kannur by 7 pm. The journey will be facilitated in a Semi Sleeper Super Express Bus for maximum comfort.

As part of the festival celebrations, KSRTC has arranged a special package departing from Kannur at 6.30 am on June 1 and 8. The package includes visits to Mamanathambalam, Mridanga Shaileshwari Temple, Puralimala Temple, and Kottiyoor Temple, with a return to Kannur by 7.30 pm. The cost for this package is Rs 630 per person.

For those seeking to explore nature, KSRTC is offering package trips to Paithalmala, Ezharakkund Waterfall and Palakkayam Thattu on June 9 and 23. Trips to Thusharagiri Falls, En Ooru Tribal Heritage Village, Pookode Lake, Honey Museum, and Lakkidi View Point are organized every Sunday via Koothuparamba.

Other exciting destinations included in the schedule are Janakikadu-Kariyathumpara on June 2, 9, 16, and 30, Ranipuram on June 23, Vagamon-Munnar on June 21, and Vagamon-Kanthallur on June 7 and 28.
