
Kochi: As part of creating awareness about cancer diseases and providing quality treatment at minimal cost, Aster Medcity will be joining hands with the 'Soukhyam' project being implemented by Hibi Eden, MP in Ernakulam Parliament Constituency.
The new project is being undertaken as part of Aster Hospitals completing 200 bone marrow transplants. Highly qualified doctors' service will be ensured through this project.
The project 'Aster Care Together' will be implemented throughout the state to ensure quality treatment to society. Chemotherapy units will be established at regional hospitals or other institutions in other districts, where Aster hospitals have no presence. The service of expert doctors will also be made available here.
Hibi Eden, MP, expressed his gratitude for associating with Aster Medcity for providing quality cancer treatment for the financially weaker sections too. 'Aster Care Together' project will be implemented in the Ernakulam Parliament Constituency as part of the 'Soukhyam' project, Hibi Eden said.
Regional director Aster Hospitals Kerala and Oman. Farhan Yasin said that Aster has decided to undertake this project to ensure cancer patients who cannot afford huge treatment costs should not suffer any more.
