Sharjah: The seventh edition of ‘Kalam Sakshi’, a biography of former Kerala CM Oommen Chandy, was unveiled at the 42nd Sharjah International Book Fair. The book is published by Mathrubhumi Books. Oommen Chandy’s daughter Achu Oommen handed over a copy of the book to AASA Group Chairman CP Salih. The book was written by senior journalist Sunnykutty Abraham. 

“People started knowing more about my father after his death. My father spent his entire life amidst people, dealing with their issues. Oommen Chandy’s life is his message to the people. His journey has been beautifully etched in the book written by Sunnykutty Abraham, published by Mathrubhumi Books,” said Achu Oommen.

“My father never resorted to shortcuts. That’s what makes him different from others. He has been a victim of political witchhunting, but he never gave up his ideals. He deserves more justice,” added Achu Oommen.
