Mathrubhumi Books will soon publish latest crime thriller penned by young writer Lajo Jose. Titled as 'Rest in Peace', the novel will be available in Mathrubhumi Books showrooms and website shortly.

Lajo Jose stated in a Facebook post that the novel has been written in a sub-genre called 'Cozy Mystery'. The story takes place in a closed space without any bloodshed and violence.

The writer also released the character posters of the novel through Facebook introducing the characters Annamma Simon and Frederic Devassy. It is for the first time character posters are created for a Malayalam novel. Trailer video of the novel will be released in the coming days.

Lajo Jose made it clear in the post that no book release ceremony will be organised for 'Rest in Peace'. His other books also were released without any event. The novel's tagline indicates that 'Today it's me, tomorrow it's you'.

Earlier, Mathrubhumi Books had published the thriller 'Hydrangea' by Lajo Jose. His other works 'Coffee House' and 'Ruthinte Lokam' also were widely appreciated.
