Malayalam writer Vineetha Kuttanchery, winner of the Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Academy Award, found dead at 44.

Thrissur: Malayalam writer Vineetha Kuttanchery (44) was found dead at her residence in Thrissur in an apparent case of suicide, according to local authorities.
Vineetha was the recipient of the 2019 Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Academy Award for Malayalam Literature and had recently launched her new book "Vincent Van Goghinte Veenalpakshi" (Vincent Van Gogh’s Summer Bird) last Sunday at the Thrissur Press Club.
Known for her powerful and socially conscious writing, Vineetha was also an active voice on social media and had worked as a Scheduled Caste promoter in the Avanur Panchayat.
She is survived by husband Raju and two children.
