Kerala Collector Arjun Pandian personally drove a tractor, preparing paddy fields alongside farmers in Mullassery to understand their challenges.

Mullassery: Collector Arjun Pandian drove a tractor and prepared the farmland at the Manalpuzha-Kannoth joint plot. The collector visited to inspect the paddy cultivation and understand the challenges faced by farmers. On Friday morning, he reached the paddy field and interacted with the farmers. Later, he got onto the tractor and went to the field to prepare the land. Without any difficulty, he plowed the field like a farmer for over half an hour. Paddy planting had already begun on part of the 336-acre Manalpuzha-Kannoth joint plot. On the remaining part, the collector joined to prepare the land for cultivation.
Deputy Collector KG Pransing, Mullassery Agriculture Assistant Director Betsy Merina John, Agriculture Officer CR Ragesh and farmers KP Muhammad, KP Rajesh, and MG Rajesh were also present with the collector. Farmers requested the collector to complete the construction of the Idiyanchira and Enamakal regulators soon, protect the edges of the Krishi Farm Road, and allow a vertical pump into the paddy field.
