ICAR-Central Institute for Cotton Research, Regional Station, Sirsa, Haryana -125055, has invited applications for the Recruitment to temporary (contractual) Positions of Young Professional I and II.

Young Professional II (3 positions): Project Name: GEAC

Eligibility: (1) Post Graduation in Plant Breeding & Genetics/Genetics/ Life Sciences Positions) (2) Post Graduation in Entomology/ Zoology with specialization in Entomology/ Life Sciences (3) Post Graduation in Plant Pathology/Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology/ Life Sciences. Desirable Qualification: Ph D in relevant subject with computer knowledge. Nature of work: Field and Lab oriented work

Young Professional II (1 position): Project Name: Institute Grant (IG)

Eligibility: Post Graduation in Plan Breeding & Genetics/Genetics/Life Sciences. Desirable Qualification: Ph D in relevant Institute subject with computer knowledge. Nature of work: Field and Lab oriented work.

YP-I (Two Positions)- Project Name: GEAC.

Eligibility: Graduate in Agriculture/Life Sciences. Desirable Qualification: M.Sc in relevant subject with computer knowledge. Nature of work: Field and Lab oriented work.

For YP -II, & YP-1, the minimum age will be 21 and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules as on the date of interview. Relaxation in the case of SC/ST/OBC &other exempted categories of candidates as per rules will be entertained.

Fellowship will be @ Rs. 35,000/- pm for YP II and @ Rs.25000/- for YP I. All schemes are valid till 31.3.2023.

Eligible candidates have to appear for a Walk-in-interview at ICAR-Central Institute for Cotton Research, Regional Station, Sirsa on 22.6.2022 (Reporting time: 9 am - 10 am).

The completed application should be submitted at the venue of the interview on the interview day between 9 am and 10 am. Applicants should bring the original certificates in support of Age, Qualifications, Experience, Caste, Employment Exchange Registration Card for verification. Only those candidates who qualify the eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear for the written test of one-hour duration on the date of Walk-in-interview. Those without Provisional graduate and Master’s degree certificates from the concerned University will not be eligible for Walk-in-interview.
