NTA has opened a one-time correction window for UGC NET December 2025 applications till November 12

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the facility for correction of particulars in certain fields of the Online Application Form for UGC-NET December 2025, the test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for (i) 'award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor', (ii) 'appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.' (iii) 'admission to Ph.D. only' in Indian universities and colleges.
Fields for which changes/corrections can be made are Date of Birth, Category, Father's Name and Mother's Name
No change is allowed in the fields, Candidate's Name, Gender, Photograph, Signature, Mobile Number, Email Address, Permanent and Correspondence Address or Examination City
Corrections in particulars can be made through the website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/ by 11.50 pm on 12th November 2025.
All registered candidates may visit the official website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/ and verify their particulars in their Online Application Forms. If required, they may make corrections in the permitted fields only, within the above period. No corrections will be accepted after 11.50 pm on 12th November 2025.
The additional fee (if applicable) should be paid by the candidate concerned through credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI only.
This facility is extended only once to avoid any hardship to the candidates. Candidates may make corrections carefully, as no further opportunity for correction will be provided.
