Chennai: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, declared the TN HSC Class 12 Result 2025 on Thursday, May 8, at 9 am. The pass rate for the HSC exam stands at 95.03%. Students who appeared for the TN +2 public examinations can check their results online by visiting the official websites — tnresults.nic.in.in and dge.tn.gov.in. 
In the Tamil Nadu HSC examinations, girls have once again outperformed boys, recording a pass percentage of 96.7% compared to 93.16% achieved by their male counterparts.
The results was announced at the Anna Centenary Library Auditorium in Chennai. As many as 7,53,142 out of 7,92,494 candidates have successfully passed the examination.
To access their marksheets, students will need their registration number and date of birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format).

How to check TN 12th Result 2025:

  1. Visit tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in 
  2. Click on the “HSC +2 Result 2025” link on the homepage
  3. Enter your registration number and date of birth
  4. Submit the details to view your scorecard
  5. Download and save a copy of the provisional marksheet

The digital marksheet will be provisional and can be used for college admissions until the official marksheets are issued.
