The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is expected to announce the exam dates for the RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam 2025. This is great news for candidates who successfully completed their registration for the exam.
The NTPC recruitment drive aims to fill 8,113 graduate-level vacancies and 3,445 undergraduate-level vacancies. Although the exact dates are yet to be confirmed, the RRB NTPC Exam 2025 is expected to take place in March and April 2025. The official schedule will be shared soon.
The registration window for the RRB NTPC Exam 2025 opened on September 13, 2024, and closed on October 27, 2024. A correction window was also available from October 23 to November 6, 2024, to allow candidates to make necessary adjustments to their applications.
RRB NTPC 2025: Exam structure
The selection process for RRB NTPC Exam 2025 includes multiple stages: the 1st Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), the 2nd Stage CBT, Typing Skill Test/Computer-Based Aptitude Test (for certain posts), and Document Verification/Medical Examination.
The final selection will be based on candidates' merit, determined by their performance in these stages.
The exam will be available in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu, ensuring accessibility for all candidates across regions.
A key point to remember is the introduction of negative marking: for every incorrect answer in both the CBT 1 and CBT 2 exams, 1/3 of a mark will be deducted.
