Kerala School of Mathematics, a joint initiative of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) and Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India; Kunnamangalam PO; Kozhikode, Kerala-673571, has invited applications from motivated and aspiring students for pursuing a PhD degree Course at the School.
Selected candidates will be working either in the broad area of Complex Analysis or Number Theory.
Eligibility: Applicant should hold Master’s degree in Mathematical or Physical Sciences, or B.E./B.Tech/equivalent degree in an appropriate field of Engineering or Technology, with minimum second-class or equivalent grade. Applicant should also have Qualified in the Doctoral Scholarship Examination conducted by NBHM or CSIR-UGC NET for JRF or should hold an external PhD fellowship.
Those expecting to complete all the requirements for the qualifying degree before August 08, 2022 are eligible to apply. For such candidates, the admission, if offered, will be subject to the completion of the qualifying degree.
Application: Application containing applicant’s résumé and a scanned copy of the CSIR-UGC/NBHM letter offering their fellowship or a copy of the hall ticket (in the case the offer letter has not been received yet) should reach admissions@ksom.res.in on or before August 08, 2022.
All shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The PhD offer will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview.
