Option registration opens for Kerala’s 5-year law courses; apply online via CEE portal before July 27

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, has commenced the activities related to the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) for admission to the Integrated Five-Year LL.B. Course in four government law colleges and 50% government seats in 30 private self-financing law colleges of the state for the year 2025-26.
Those included in the rank list for admission to the Integrated Five-Year LLB course in Kerala can register their options online through www.cee.kerala.gov.in up to 11.59 pm on 27.07.2025.
Candidates may enter their application number and password at the link ‘Integrated Five Year LL.B. 2025 - Candidate Portal’ provided at www.cee.kerala.gov.in to log on to their home page. Then, by clicking the menu ‘Option Registration,’ candidates can register their options online.
The list of colleges included in the Allotment Process is given in the notification on the website. Allotment to all colleges/courses shall be subject to the final order/affiliation/approval of the government/Bar Council of India/university concerned. Options to some colleges, as notified in the notification, will be considered for allotment only after approval from the government/Bar Council of India/respective university.
Candidates whose results are withheld due to a defect in their application can also register online options. However, their options will not be considered for the allotment process if relevant documents are not uploaded by 3 pm on 25.07.2025.
Option Registration Fee: Those candidates who wish to register options will have to remit registration fees of Rs.1000/- to the CEE. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OEC category are eligible for benefits as per G.O. (Ms) No. 25/2005/SCSTDD, dated 20.06.2005, and G.O. (Ms) No. 10/2014/BCDD, dated 23.05.2014, and those candidates from Juvenile Home, Nirbhaya Home, and Sreechithra Home will have to remit Rs.500/- as a registration fee. The registration fee can be remitted by way of online payment.
The registration fee of those candidates who do not get an allotment will be refunded. If a candidate gets an allotment and does not join within the stipulated time, the option registration fee will be considered a penalty and will not be refunded. The option registration fee of the candidates who quit the seats after taking admission will be considered as a penalty and will not be refunded.
Refund of the option registration fee for the eligible candidates will be made only after the completion of the allotment process, and it will be notified.
Candidates who fail to register their options online within the stipulated time will not be considered for allotment under any circumstances. Options forwarded to the CEE by email/post/hand delivery will not be processed or considered on any account for the allotment of seats.
Fee: As the fee for the academic year 2025-26 is not yet fixed, candidates getting allotment must pay the fee fixed for the year 2024-25 initially. They will be liable to pay the balance fee in case the fee to be fixed for the academic year 2025-26 is higher than that of 2024-25.
Fees for 2024-25 were as follows: (i) Government Law Colleges—Annual Tuition Fee: Rs.1575/- (ii) Private Self-Financing Law College (Govt. Seats)—Annual Tuition Fee: Rs.36,750/-, Special Fee: Rs.5,250/-, Caution Deposit: Rs.5,000/-, Refundable Deposit: Rs.50,000/-
Documents to be produced at the time of admission are given in the Notification and Prospectus.
