National School of Drama (NSD), an Autonomous Institution of Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has invited applications for Direct Admission to Second Semester One Year Acting Course (Non-Residential) to be conducted at Mumbai Centre National School of Drama (Location: 603, Durga Chambers, CTS No. 699, ETC Plot No. A-8, Veera Desai Road, Andheri (West), Mumbai, Maharashtra – 400058).

Admission shall be granted directly to the Second Semester only, subject to the availability of seats and fulfilment of prescribed eligibility criteria. The course is designed to impart essential skills in acting, movement, voice, imagination, and theatre practices.

The duration of the course is 6 months, and the number of seats available is 15. Classes will be from 8 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday (Teaching hours may be extended, if required). Medium of Instruction will be Hindi/English. Course commences on 18.05.2026.

Eligibility: Applicant must have passed 12th (10+2) from any recognised Board and should be 18 years & above. The applicant must possess working knowledge of Hindi and/or English.

Admission Process: Admission shall be through Online Audition and Interview before the Expert Committee constituted by NSD. The Audition/Interview shall be conducted at: 603, Durga Chambers, CTS No. 699, ETC Plot No. A-8, Veera Desai Road, Andheri (West), Mumbai, Maharashtra – 400058 on 01.05.2026. The Expert Committee shall assess the aptitude, performance skills, and suitability of the candidate. Selected candidates must produce original documents for verification at the time of admission.

Course Fee (Second Semester) is Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh only). The course fee, once deposited, shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
