The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the NEET UG 2026 admit card on Monday, April 27. While many students were expecting the hall tickets on April 26, the NTA announced on social media that the download link will now go live at 10 am on April 27.

How to complete your NEET admit card download

Once the link is active, follow these steps to obtain the NTA NEET admit card 2026:

  • Go to the official portal: neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Look for the “Candidate Activity” section and click on “NEET UG Admit Card 2026”.
  • Enter your application number and password, then click “Submit”.
  • Your NEET UG admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Download and save a copy for future reference.

NEET 2026 exam date and schedule

The NEET 2026 exam date is officially set for May 3. The medical entrance test will be conducted for three hours, from 2 pm to 5 pm, in a single shift. This pan-India examination will be held across 552 cities in India and 14 countries internationally.

Important exam day protocol

Candidates must carry their NEET UG 2026 admit card along with a government-recognised ID proof. Valid documents include Aadhaar card, voter ID card, or PAN card.

It is also essential to verify all details on the hall ticket, including exam centre name, address, and reporting time. In case of discrepancies, candidates should inform the examination authorities immediately.

NEET UG 2026 exam pattern

The NEET UG 2026 will be a pen-and-paper-based test using OMR sheets.

Total questions: 180 compulsory questions covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

Total marks: 720. 

Marking scheme: 4 marks for each correct answer and a deduction of 1 mark for each wrong answer.

Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours).
