Kerala students awaiting their board results may soon get clarity, with expected dates now announced for both SSLC and Plus Two results

The Kerala government has indicated that the SSLC (Class 10) results are likely to be announced in the third week of May 2026, while the Plus Two (Class 12) results are expected on May 25, 2026. The announcement was made by state education minister V Sivankutty.

Students who appeared for the exams will be able to access their results online through official websites, including:
They will need their roll number and other required details to log in and download their scorecards.
How did students perform last year?
Last year’s results saw strong performance trends across both classes.
For SSLC (Class 10):
- Overall pass percentage stood at 99.5%
- Over 61,000 students scored A+ in all subjects
- Kannur recorded the highest pass percentage
- Thiruvananthapuram had the lowest among districts
For Plus Two (Class 12):
- Overall pass percentage was 77.81%
- Science stream performed best
- Commerce and Humanities followed with lower pass rates
Why were Gulf exam centres cancelled?
The Kerala government also confirmed that board exams scheduled in Gulf countries were cancelled due to the ongoing West Asia conflict.
Special provisions have been made for students who could not appear for exams in the Gulf region:
For SSLC students:
- Marks will be calculated using model or term exam scores
- Additional grace marks will be included
- For Plus Two students:
- First-year marks will be carried forward
- Continuous Evaluation (CE) and practical marks will be added
Will students get another chance?
Students who are not satisfied with their results will be allowed to appear for improvement examinations when they are conducted later.
With result dates nearing, students are advised to keep their login credentials ready and regularly check official websites for updates. The final confirmation of dates and result timings is expected closer to the announcement window.
