Kerala CEE opens mandatory option confirmation window for the second phase PG Medical allotment process

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, has opened the facility for option confirmation/deletion/rearrangement for the second phase allotment to PG Medical Courses for the academic year 2025-26 in the State.
Option confirmation is mandatory to participate in this phase. Candidates, including Service Quota candidates included in the state merit lists published by the CEE, can log in to www.cee.kerala.gov.in and then click the link ‘PG Medical 2025-Candidate Portal’ to access their home page. Candidates can then click the ‘Confirm’ button available therein and then rearrange/delete their existing higher-order options if needed. Candidates who have not received any allotment in the first phase can also rearrange/delete their existing options after confirmation.
The facility for online option confirmation/deletion/re-arrangement will be available at www.cee.kerala.gov.in up to 5 pm on 17.12.2025. There is no facility for fresh option registration for candidates in Phase 2.
If a candidate was allotted a seat in the first phase and has joined the allotted seat, his/her higher options (those above the allotted option) will be available for confirmation/deletion/re-arrangement in this phase. All the lower options (those below the allotted option) would have been automatically deleted, thus allowing only upgradation to a higher option or retention of the same seat.
If a candidate who joined the course allotted in the first phase does not confirm the higher options to be considered for allotment in the second phase, he/she will not be considered for upgradation in the second phase. But the seat allotted in the first phase will be retained. So, if a candidate who joined the course allotted in the first phase does not want upgradation in the second phase, he/she need not confirm the higher options or should delete all the higher options after confirmation.
Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first phase but did not take admission in the respective colleges within the stipulated time and those candidates who quit the seats after taking admission will lose their present allotment as well as all the higher order options and will not be considered for the second phase allotment except to those options registered for the newly added courses/colleges, if any. The registration fee of such candidates who did not join within the stipulated time after getting the allotment in the first phase and those candidates who quit the seats after taking admission will be considered as penalty and will not be refunded.
Candidates who have received an allotment in the first phase and got admitted to the allotted colleges and continue in their admitted status and candidates who have not received any allotment in the first phase, and who want to be considered for the second phase of allotment are eligible to participating in the Second phase allotment.
A candidate who was allotted a seat in the first phase of the State counseling but did not join the allotted seat as well as a candidate who joined the allotted seat in the first phase of the State counseling but later vacated the seat, will be excluded from Phase 2.
Second phase provisional allotment will be published on 19.12.2025 and second phase final allotment will be published on 20.12.2025. All candidates who receive an allotment must join the course/college to which they are allotted during 22.12.2025 and 4 pm on 28.12.2025. They have to submit the necessary documents and pay the prescribed fee at the respective colleges. No extension of time for reporting to the college will be granted under any circumstances. Candidates are liable to pay admission fee as prescribed by the University concerned at the time of admission.
The registration fee of candidates who fail to join within the stipulated time after receiving an allotment, as well as those who quit their seats after taking admission, will be treated as a penalty and will not be refunded.
The allotment to Colleges/Courses will be subject to recognition of All India Regulatory Bodies/Affiliation from the University concerned. All details related to the counseling/allotment process, Government Orders and Prospectus for admission to PG Medical Courses-2025 are available at www.cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates are required to visit the official website regularly for updates.
Fresh option registration will be available during the third (final) Phase as per Prospectus Clause 10.1.18 (3).
