Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially declared the KCET 2025 results on Saturday, with over 2.75 lakh candidates qualifying for admission to various professional courses across the state. The results were announced during a press conference held at 11.30 am by Higher Education Minister Dr M C Sudhakar. Candidates can access their digital scorecards from 2 pm onwards via the official websites — cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea and karresults.nic.in.

This year, more than 3.3 lakh students registered for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), officially referred to as UGCET, with around 3.11 lakh appearing for the exam. The entrance test paves the way for admissions to courses in Engineering, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Pharmacy, Naturopathy and more.

KEA has also released the course-wise list of KCET 2025 toppers.

What’s next for qualified candidates?

The KCET 2025 counselling process is expected to begin in June. It will include online registration, option entry, seat allotment and document verification. KEA will soon release the detailed counselling schedule on its official portal.

Candidates must keep the following documents ready for verification:

  • KCET 2025 application form (signed printout)
  • KCET 2025 admit card
  • SSLC (Class 10) mark sheet
  • 2nd PUC (Class 12) mark sheet
  • Study Certificate signed by BEO/DDPI
  • Two recent passport-size photos
  • Government-issued ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Driving Licence)

Students are advised to rely solely on the official KEA websites for result and counselling updates and to avoid third-party platforms. In case of heavy traffic on the site, KEA recommends trying again after some time.
