Kozhikode: Inspired by the successful PRISM model implemented in schools like Nadakkavu Government Girls VHSS in Kozhikode, Kashmir is now set to rise with its own version. A new school building constructed under the Dream School Project by the Faizal & Shabana Foundation will be inaugurated on October 27 in Srinagar.

The middle school block at Kothibagh Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Srinagar includes 14 classrooms, a science lab, robotics lab and a canteen, all built at a cost of ₹11 crore.

Faizal Kottikollon, founder of the Faisal & Shabana Foundation and chairman of the UAE India Business Council – UAE Chapter, originally from Mahe, stated that Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had earlier requested the expansion of the model to 40 more schools across the region.

Faizal Kottikollon also presented a memento to Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who has been invited to inaugurate the new building. Also present were Kshitij Korde (Head of Corporate Affairs, UIBC-UC), and Daniel, Srinagar manager of the Foundation.
