The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the city intimation slip for candidates registered for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination, scheduled for April/May 2026. Applicants can access the document through their login credentials on the official portal.

The city intimation slip provides details of the exam city allotted to candidates, helping them and their families make travel and accommodation arrangements in advance. To download the slip, candidates must log in using their application number and password.

The NTA has also confirmed the schedule for the Session 2 examination. Paper 1 will be conducted on April 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8, while Paper 2 is scheduled for April 7.

Candidates should note that the city intimation slip is not the admit card. The admit cards for the examination will be released separately, around three to four days prior to the respective exam dates.

How to download JEE Main 2026 Session 2 city intimation slip:

  • Visit the official website, https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/.
  • Click on the Session 2 city intimation slip link under the ‘Candidate Activity’ section.
  • Enter your application number and password.
  • View the city slip displayed on the screen.
  • Download and keep a copy for future reference.

The registration process for Session 2 closed on March 13, 2026.

Earlier, the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam was conducted in a computer-based format from January 21 to January 29. The test was held in two shifts each day — from 9 am to 12 noon and from 3 pm to 6 pm.
