NTA has released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 city intimation slip on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Admit card will be issued before the exam.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 city intimation slip on Thursday, giving engineering aspirants advance details about their exam location.
Candidates appearing for the January session can download the slip from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The city intimation slip is issued to inform candidates about their allotted exam city, reporting schedule, and important instructions.
It is important to note that this document is not the JEE Main admit card.

How to download JEE Main 2026 Session 1 city intimation slip
- Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Click on the link for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 City Intimation Slip
- Enter your application number and password
- Submit the details to view the city slip
- Download
Exam date
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination will be conducted between January 21 and January 30, 2026. Meanwhile, Session 2 is scheduled to take place from April 2 to April 9, 2026. The examination will be held for two papers, Paper 1 for BE/BTech aspirants and Paper 2 for BArch and BPlanning candidates.
Candidates who qualify JEE Main 2026 will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2026, which serves as the gateway to IIT admissions. The registration window for JEE Advanced 2026 will remain open from April 23 to May 2, with applications to be submitted through jeeadv.ac.in.
JEE Main 2026 admit card date
Information related to the exact exam centre address, exam shift, and paper timing will be mentioned separately on the official admit card.
According to the JEE Main 2026 information bulletin, the Session 1 admit card is expected to be released three to four days before the exam. However, NTA has not yet confirmed the exact date for the admit card release.
