Against the backdrop of the controversies surrounding discrepancies in the JEE Main 2025 session 2 response sheets and provisional answer key, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an official clarification. The move comes in response to concerns raised by students and coaching institutes over blank responses, wrongly recorded answers, and potentially inaccurate solutions in the April session’s answer key.

NTA reaffirmed its commitment to a fair and transparent evaluation process, stating that candidates are given access to their recorded responses alongside the provisional key to ensure full transparency. Taking to its official X handle, the agency assured students that “the NTA treats each objection with utmost seriousness and encourages students to participate in the challenge process to rectify any discrepancies”.
