Over 8 lakh GATE 2026 aspirants are eagerly awaiting their admit cards, which were delayed from their original January 2 release.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati is expected to release the GATE 2026 admit cards shortly, following a delay that has left over eight lakh postgraduate aspirants in anticipation.
Originally scheduled for release on January 2, the hall tickets were postponed by the organising institute without a specified reason. While various media reports suggested a release on January 7 or 9, the official website (gate2026.iitg.ac.in) currently maintains that the "revised release date will be announced soon."
