Originally scheduled for release on January 2, the hall tickets were postponed by the organising institute without a specified reason. While various media reports suggested a release on January 7 or 9, the official website (gate2026.iitg.ac.in) currently maintains that the "revised release date will be announced soon."

How to Download the GATE 2026 Admit Card

Once the link is activated, candidates must use the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal to access their documents.

  • Step 1: Visit the official website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
  • Step 2: Click on the "GOAPS" or "Admit Card" login link.
  • Step 3: Enter your Enrollment ID and password.
  • Step 4: View and download the hall ticket.
  • Step 5: Print a clear copy on A4-sized paper (digital copies are not permitted for entry).

Exam Schedule and Paper Details

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 is scheduled to take place across two weekends in February. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: Forenoon (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM) and Afternoon (2:30 PM – 5:30 PM).
