The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 results on July 4 (Friday). Candidates who appeared for the test between May 13 and June 4 may access their scorecards via the official website — cuet.nta.nic.in.

To download the CUET UG 2025 result, students must enter their application number and date of birth on the result page. The scorecard will include both personal and academic details, which must be verified by the candidate after download.

The provisional answer key was released on June 17, and candidates were allowed to raise objections until June 20. The final version of the answer key was made available on July 1, following which the result was prepared.

Merit lists and admission to follow

Post-result, each participating university will prepare a merit list using the NTA scores. Institutions such as Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Banaras Hindu University will begin their counselling and admission processes based on these scores.

In the case of subjects held across multiple shifts, the raw marks are normalised to produce NTA scores, ensuring a level playing field for all test-takers. These scores are applicable solely for admission to the 2025–26 academic year.

University portals key to next steps

Candidates should visit individual university admission portals regularly for updates on cut-offs, eligibility, and application timelines. The counselling and seat allotment will take place in phases, depending on both merit and student preference.
