BSEB announces Class 12 results 2026; girls outperform boys, toppers and pass percentage released.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the Class 12 or Intermediate examination results today, March 23. The announcement was made during a press briefing led by Bihar’s Education Minister Sunil Kumar, in the presence of BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor and Additional Chief Secretary Dr B Rajender.
Students who appeared for the examinations can now access their results online through the official websites—interbiharboard.com and bsebexam.com—where the result link has been activated. Candidates are advised to keep their roll numbers and login details ready to avoid delays while downloading their marksheets.
The board has declared results for all three streams — Science, Arts and Commerce — simultaneously.
BSEB Inter 2026 toppers across Science, Arts, Commerce
In terms of performance, girls have once again outperformed boys, securing top positions in both the Arts and Commerce streams. Nishu Kumari from Gaya emerged as the Arts topper, while Aditi Kumari from Patna led the Commerce stream. In the Science stream, Aditya Prakash Aman from Samastipur secured the top rank.
The overall pass percentage for 2026 stands at 85.19%. Among girls, the pass rate is 86.23%, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 84.09%. A total of 26 students feature among the top rank holders, including 19 girls.
The Intermediate examinations were conducted between February 2 and February 13, 2026, with 13,17,846 students appearing for the exams. This includes 6,75,844 girls and 6,42,002 boys. To pass, candidates must secure at least 33% marks in each subject.
Alongside the results, the board has also published stream-wise pass percentages and the complete list of toppers.
