Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech & Hearing Disabilities (AYJNISHD) (Divyangjan), Mumbai; an Apex Autonomous body under Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Government of India; K.C. Marg, Bandra Reclamation, Bandra (West), Mumbai - 400 050; has invited applications from Persons with Disabilities for the following Skill development and Free Coaching courses for 2025-26 session at AYJNISHD (D), Mumbai. 

Name of Course, Duration of course and eligibility are as follows

(i) Free Coaching for PwDs for Railway Recruitment Board Exams and Staff Selection Commission Exams (6 to 9 months): PwD having UDID with minimum 40% disability; Education- 12th Pass; Income- Less than Rs. 8 lakh p.a; Age- As per eligibility in exam notification 

(ii) JSS-Beauty Care Assistant course for Persons with Hearing Impairment (3-4 months): Persons with Hearing disability having UDID with minimum 40% disability; Education- Ability to read and write; Age- 15 years to 59 years.

(iii) PM DAKSH- Data Entry Operator Course for Persons with Hearing Impairment (6-7 months) and (iv) PM DAKSH - Employability Skills for PwDs (70 hours): Persons with hearing disability having UDID with minimum 40% disability; Education- 10th Pass; Age- 15 years to 59 years.

(v) Certificate course in Computer Software for Persons with Hearing Impairment (1 Year): Persons with hearing disability having UDID with minimum 40% disability; Education- 10th Pass; Age- minimum 15 years.

Financial Support (As per the scheme guidelines): Stipend: Rs. 4000/-per month; Disability allowance-  Rs. 2000/- per month (Till completion of course); Book allowance: Rs. 5000/- (one time) 

The Training/Programs will be held at AYJNISHD (D), Mumbai.
