The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued admit cards for the 2025 Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) CBT-1 examinations.

Candidates who registered for the exam can now download their hall tickets from their respective regional RRB websites. The exams will be held from 5 to 24 June 2025.

Admit cards, referred to as e-call letters, are available for download four days prior to each candidate’s scheduled exam date.

To access the admit card,

candidates must log in to their regional RRB portal through indianrailways website, click the designated link, and enter their login credentials.

It is advised to verify all personal and exam details on the hall ticket. Any discrepancies should be reported to the concerned RRB immediately.

A valid photo ID must also be carried to the exam centre along with the admit card.

In addition, candidates from the SC/ST categories are eligible for a Travel Authority facility. This travel pass can be accessed via a separate link ten days before the candidate’s scheduled exam date.

The CBT-1 exam will be conducted in multiple shifts across the country. It will be 90 minutes long and include 100 objective-type questions — 40 on General Awareness, 30 on Mathematics, and 30 on General Intelligence and Reasoning. Each correct answer carries one mark, while each incorrect answer attracts a penalty of one-third mark.

Candidates who qualify in CBT-1 will move on to CBT-2. Depending on the post applied for, subsequent rounds may include a Typing Skill Test or Computer-Based Aptitude Test, followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.

A total of 11,558 vacancies are to be filled under the RRB NTPC 2025 recruitment drive — 8,113 graduate-level and 3,445 undergraduate-level posts. Candidates are advised to check their respective regional RRB websites regularly for updates.
