NTPC Limited, is looking for promising, dedicated, energetic young Graduate Engineers with brilliant academic records to join the organization as Engineering Executive Trainees 2023 in disciplines of Electrical (120 positions), Mechanical (200), Electronics/Instrumentation (80), Civil (30) and Mining (65). 

Eligibility: Applicant should hold a Full Time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with not less than 65% marks, as per respective Institute/University norms (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). Applicants should have the prescribed full time degree identified for the disciplines as given below. 

Electrical Engineering: Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electrical, Instrumentation & Control / Power Systems & High Voltage / Power Electronics/Power Engineering 

Mechanical Engineering: Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engg./ Production & Industrial Engg./ Thermal / Mechanical & Automation / Power Engineering 

Electronics Engineering: Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Power/ Power Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electrical & Electronics 

Instrumentation Engineering: Electronics & Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics Instrumentation & Control 

Civil Engineering: Civil/Construction Engineering 

Mining Engineering: Mining 

Applicants must have appeared and qualified for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023. The GATE 2023 paper required to have qualified for different disciplines is notified in the Recruitment Notification given at https://careers.ntpc.co.in/recruitment/ 

Age Limit: Upper Age limit is 27 years as on last date of online application. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/XSM candidates will be applicable as per Government's Guidelines. 

Selection Process: Applicants shall be shortlisted for document verification based on GATE-2023 performance. Further, the candidates will be extended ‘Offer of Appointment’ subject to meeting the eligibility criteria.
