The Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, has announced a contract vacancy for a Cytotechnologist, with applications open until 31 January 2026.

Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram has invited applications for selection of one Cytotechnologist on a contract basis at the Centre.
Qualification and experience: Applicant should have (i) passed BSc Medical Laboratory Technology with experience in Cytology for one year or BSc Chemistry, Zoology or Botany as main or subsidiary recognized by the Kerala University with a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and experience in Cytology for one year or M.Sc. (Botany/Zoology/Life Science) II Class with experience in Cytology for 6 months (ii) Pass in Cytotechnologist course from the Regional Cancer Centre or the Indian Academy of Cytologists (IAC) recognized Cytotechnologists Course.
Age limit: Age should not exceed 36 years as on 01.01.2026. Relaxation in upper age limit will be given to SC/ST and OBC candidates as per existing norms.
Tenure of engagement will be 1 year.
