Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited, A Government of Odisha Undertaking; OHPC Corporate Office, Bhoi Nagar, Janpath, Bhubaneswar -22, is recruiting young, bright and energetic professionals as Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETS).

GETs will be recruited through GATE-2025 in the disciplines of Electrical (60 positions), Civil (2), Mechanical (4), Instrumentation & Control (3).

The Post, Essential Qualification, Corresponding GATE-2025 paper and code are as follows:

GET (Electrical): Full time Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering from recognized University/ Institution, approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or AMIE in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate [GATE 2025 Paper- Electrical Engineering; Code EE]

GET (Civil): Full time Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized University/Institution, approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or AIME in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate [Civil Engineering (CE)]

GET (Mechanical): Full time Degree in Mechanical Engineering from recognized University/ Institution, approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate [Mechanical Engineering (ME)]

GET (Instrumentation & Control): Full time Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation & Control) or PG Diploma in Instrumentation and Control from a recognized University/ Institution, approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate [Instrumentation Engineering (IN)]

For all positions, SC/ ST/PWD candidates, need a minimum of 50% marks only in aggregate in the qualifying Program.

Age: Applicant must not be under the age of 21 years and not above the age of 32 years as on 01.05.2025. The Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for those belonging to SC/ ST/ SEBC/ Women/ Ex-Serviceman and by 10 years for PWDs whose permanent disability is 40% or more.

Application fee: Applicants belonging to UR & SEBC category are required to pay a non-refundable A/C payee Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.750/ - only drawn in favour of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd., payable at Bhubaneswar. The candidate is required to write his/ her name, date of birth and contact Telephone/Mobile No. on the reverse of the Demand Draft. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) of Odisha only, PWD candidates (whose disability is not less than 40%) are exempted from payment of application fee.

The filled application form along with the enclosures as applicable shall be sent by ordinary post to ‘Chief General Manager (HR), Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited, OHPC Corporate Office, Bhoi Nagar Janpath, Bhubaneswar-751022’ in an envelope super-scribing "Application for the Post of GET" (as applicable) so as to reach on or before 05.07.2025.

Selection: Candidates shall be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE score-2025 (Marks out of 100) only. The shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. The list of eligible shortlisted candidates for Document Verification will be uploaded in the website. The call letter will be sent to the Email ID of the shortlisted candidates.

After document verification, the offer of appointment shall be issued to the selected candidates on the basis of their merit.
