NMDC Limited, a Government of India Enterprise, under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India; ‘Khanij Bhavan’, 10-3-311/A, Masab Tank, Hyderabad-500028; has invited applications for selection of Junior Officer (Trainee) in various disciplines, to be deployed in various Projects/ Units of NMDC. 

Junior Officer (Trainee) positions are available in the disciplines of (i) Commercial (4 positions) (ii) Environment (1) (iii) Geo & QC (3) (iv) Mining (56) (v) Survey (9) (vi) Chemical (4) (vii) Civil (9) (viii) Electrical (44) (ix) IE (3) (x) Mechanical (20).

Qualifications

(i) Commercial: Degree in Engineering or Graduate with MBA or PG Degree/ Diploma in Marketing/ Foreign Trade/ Sales Mgt. or Graduate with CA/ ICMA

(ii) Environment: Degree in Civil/ Chemical/ Mining/ Environment Engineering or PG Degree in Environmental Management/Engineering/Environmental Science/ Geology/ Chemistry/ Botany or PG Degree/ Diploma in Environment Management (2 years duration) or Doctorate in Environment Studies/ Impact Assessment

(iii) Geo & QC: M.Sc./ M.Sc. (Tech.)/ M.Tech in Geology

(iv) Mining: Three years Diploma in Mining Engineering with Foreman’s Certificate of Competency to open cast metalliferous mine or Degree in Mining Engineering with 2nd Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency to open cast metalliferous mine

(v) Survey: Three years Diploma in Mining or Diploma in Mines & Mine Surveying and Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of competency under MMR

(vi) Chemical: M.Sc. (Chemistry)/ Degree in Chemical Engineering

(vii) Civil: Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or Degree in Civil Engineering

(viii) Electrical: Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering with Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining) of Competency or Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering

(ix) Industrial Engineering: Degree in Industrial Engineering or Degree in Mining/ Mechanical/ Production Engineering with PG Degree/ Diploma in Industrial Engineering

(x) Mechanical: Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Maximum Age

32 years. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/STs and 3 years for OBCs (Non-Creamy Layer) and as per Govt. Guidelines for PwDs/Ex. Servicemen. For Departmental candidates (NMDC) age relaxation will be given up to 15 years.
