National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Calicut has notified the selection of Project Staff on contract basis for the courses/funded project of Govt. of India, through Walk-in-Interview. 

Positions and eligibility are as follows

Principal Project Associate (1 post): PhD. in Engineering / Technology in Electronics/ECE/EEE/CSE/AEI or allied branches from a recognised university with 1-year experience in R&D/ Academic institutions or First class in ME/MTech in Engineering / Technology in Electronics/ECE/EEE/CSE/AEI or allied branches from a recognised university with 3 years’ experience in R&D/ Academic institutions or First Class in BE/BTech in Engineering / Technology in Electronics/ECE/EEE/CSE/AEI or allied branches from a recognised university with 6 years’ experience in R&D/ Academic institutions. 

Age should be below 40 years.  

Remuneration

CTC (per month) will be as per norms of the Institute (Rs. 45000/- to Rs. 50000/-) based on qualification, experience and performance in the interview with eligibility for yearly increment as per norms of the Institute.

Project Assistant (1 post)

3 years’ Diploma in in Electronics/ECE/EEE/CSE/AEI and allied branches or Higher (B.E/ B. Tech in Electronics/ECE/EEE/CSE/AEI or allied branches). Age should be below 35 years 

Remuneration CTC (per month) will be as per norms of the Institute (Rs. 22000/- to Rs. 25000/-) based on qualification, experience and performance in the interview with eligibility for yearly increment as per norms of the Institute.

Duration of engagements will be one year, extendable up to three years.

Selection to both posts will be based on performance in Test/ Interview.
