The National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS), Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India, has notified the selection of a Hindi translator on a contract basis for a period of six months.

The selection will be conducted through a walk-in interview at 9.30 am on July 7 at NCESS, Akkulam, Thiruvananthapuram.

Qualification

Essential: (i) Master’s Degree in Hindi (ii) Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa

Desirable: Two years’ experience in translation and implementation of official language policy in any central government establishment.

The age limit, as of July 7, will be 35 years.

Remuneration will be Rs. 28,000/- plus HRA.

Those interested in the position may appear for the walk-in interview on the notified date with ID proof, self-attested copies of certificates and mark lists showing educational qualifications, experience, age, etc., and original certificates and mark lists for verification.

The interview, if not conducted on the specified day due to any unforeseen reasons, will be held on the next working day.
