LBSNAA seeks Economics Teaching Associate (Research Intern) for one-year contract with Rs. 40,000 stipend

Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, the apex institution for training of senior civil servants, and the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India, have invited applications from bright young professionals for selection of a Teaching Associate (Research Intern) in Economics to assist the faculty in teaching/training and research activities.
The engagement will be on a contract basis initially for a period of one year. It is extendable based on the performance of the teaching associate and the requirements of the academy. No research interns (teaching associates) will be engaged beyond three terms in any case.
Remuneration will be Rs. 40,000/- per month. Research interns will be provided accommodation in hostels (on a twin-sharing basis) on payment of prescribed charges.
Educational Qualification (Essential)
The applicant should hold a Masters in Economics with at least 55% marks and should have an aptitude for academics and research. The applicant should be proficient in the use of computers. Preference will be given to persons who are registered for a Ph.D or are pursuing M. Phil program in a relevant discipline and to those who may have worked in a similar capacity in the past.
Applicant should be below 35 years of age.
