Days after the conduction of the first ever Kerala Administrative Service preliminary examination, it is alleged that five of the questions were copied from the guidebook published by a private coaching centre even without rectifying the spelling mistake.

In the first paper of general studies, 5 questions were copied as such with the same options, students alleged.

In the questions with Code A, 63, 64, 66, 67 and 69 were taken from the book published by ‘KAS Prelims Exam Rank File’ published by Brilliance College.

The 67th question was Which of the following violates the principle of Utility of command? Students allege that it should have been Unity of Command and the same mistake appears in the rank file also.

Meanwhile, PT Thomas MLA alleged that the questions in the KAS exam were copied from Pakistan civil service exam 2001.
