Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Jakkur, Bengaluru, Karnataka - 560064, an autonomous institution under Department of Science and Technology, Govt, of India and a Deemed to - be-University, has invited applications for a temporary position of Research Associate to work under the guidance of Prof. K.R. Sreenivas, Engineering Mechanics Unit, JNCASR, Jakkur, Bengaluru- 560064.

Essential Educational Qualification: Applicant should hold a Ph.D and minimum 1 year of post-doctoral experience in conducting theoretical research primarily in the field of hydrodynamic stability. Familiarity with basics of solid mechanics (theory of elasticity), and principles of viscoelasticity, are desirable.

Upper age-limit would be 35 years. Age relaxation will be considered for those with exceptional merit. 

The position carries a Remuneration of Rs.58000/- p.m plus 27% HRA.
