The HSSC on Tuesday announced the release of admit cards for the Haryana Police Constable recruitment 2026.

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has started the application process for the Haryana Police Constable recruitment 2026. Admit cards have been released for candidates appearing for physical, document verification and interview-cum-personality tests in select categories.
The HSSC on Tuesday announced the release of admit cards for applicants in the following categories:
- Constable-Female Ex-serviceman, Cat 3 (General Duty) – Interview-cum-Personality Test
- Constable-Male Ex-serviceman, Cat 4 (General Duty) – Interview-cum-Personality Test
- Constable-Male, Cat 1 (General Duty) – Physical verification and document verification
- Constable-Female, Cat 2 (General Duty) – Interview-cum-Personality Test
Candidates can log in with their ID and password to access the admit cards.
Haryana Police Constable 2026 application process
The HSSC has invited candidates to fill 5,500 vacancies across the state and the application window opened on January 11, Sunday. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online via the official website hryssc.in until January 25, 2026. Of the total openings, 4,500 posts are for male constables, 600 for female constables, and 400 for Railway Police constables. The commission has confirmed that no application fee is required to apply.
Candidates who have qualified in the CET are now eligible to appear for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), followed by the Physical Screening Test (PST).
Those who successfully clear both the PMT and PST will be shortlisted for the Knowledge Test. The minimum qualifying marks are 50% for General category candidates and 40% for candidates from other categories.
Eligibility criteria
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
- Applicants should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at the matriculation level.
- Candidates must have qualified the HSSC Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group C posts.
- The age limit is 18 to 25 years as of January 1, 2026, with age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per Haryana government norms.
Selection process
The recruitment will be conducted in multiple stages:
- Shortlisting based on CET Group C scores.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT) to assess height and chest measurements.
- Physical Screening Test (PST), which will include a running test.
Candidates holding an NCC certificate will be awarded additional marks.
