
CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (IMMT), Bhubaneswar-751013, has invited applications from enthusiastic, young Indian researchers having excellent academic record and proven scientific achievements with requisite experience and a high degree of motivation and desire to take up Research/ S&T Management as a career to fill up the vacancy of various posts of Scientists.
Details of the positions including Designation, No. of Posts & Reservation, Total Emoluments, Upper Age Limit as on the last date of submission of online application, are as follows:
Scientist: 25 posts [UR: 11, EWS: 02, SC: 02 (including 01- backlog), ST-01, OBC (NCL)- 09] [3 posts out of the 25 Scientist posts, are reserved horizontally for PwBD (HH Category)]- carry forward, Blindness and low vision, multiple disabilities]; Total Emoluments- 1,24,055/-, Age not exceeding 32 years
Senior Scientist: UR-4, Rs. 1,43,480/-, Age not exceeding 37 years
Principal Scientist: UR-01; Rs. 2,21,005/-, Age not exceeding 45 years
The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe] and by 3 years for OBC (NCL), as per Government orders in force, only in respect of those cases where the posts/ vacancies are reserved for respective categories.
Depending on the positions, Essential Qualifications include, B.E./B. Tech. /M.E. /M.Tech./ M.Sc./Ph.D. (Science/Engg.)/Ph.D (Management) in specified subjects.
