Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Azad Bhavan, I.P. Estate, New Delhi – 110002; an autonomous body under the administrative and financial control of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, has invited applications for contractual positions of Consultants in the fields of Content Writing and Fine Arts.

For the position of Consultant Content Writing, applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field from a reputed University/ Institution. A Master’s degree or diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field from a reputed University/ Institution is desirable.

Experience: Evidence of wide ranging experience in writing and presentation skills, preferably in a cultural or government institution; Excellent command of English; proficiency in Hindi or other Indian languages is an advantage; Strong research, writing, and editing skills with attention to detail; Familiarity with SEO, web content management systems and social media trends; Capable of accomplishing projects and tasks while adhering to timelines; Should have knowledge or interest in Indian arts, culture, heritage, International Relations, Public Diplomacy and Soft Power.

Age: Should not be below 25 years and should not be over 55 years as on 1 November 2025.

Key Responsibilities include, Developing, writing and editing content for ICCR’s official website, social media channels, newsletters, and publications; Drafting press releases, speeches, event summaries, and reports; Collaborating with departments to gather content requirements and ensure accurate communication of ICCR’s activities and programs; Research cultural topics, international collaborations, and ICCR initiatives to create engaging and informative content; Ensure consistency in tone, style, and branding across all communications; Proof-read and fact-check all content to ensure accuracy and quality; Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; Coordinate with the media team to align content strategy with visual storytelling; Demonstrate excellence in written and verbal communication in both English and Hindi; Understanding of India’s cultural diplomacy and ICCR’s objectives; Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive information with discretion.

For the position of Consultant, Fine Arts (Exhibitions), the applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (BFA) or Art History/Ancient and Medieval History & Criticism or Museology, Visual Arts and Applied Art from a recognised University. A Master’s degree in Fine Arts (MFA), or Art History/Ancient and Medieval History & Criticism or Museology, Visual Arts and Applied Art from a recognised University is desirable.

Experience: Applicant should have at least 5 years’ experience in Exhibition/Gallery/events administration or management, or working in a Museum, Art or Cultural or Heritage Institution/Organisation. Should have knowledge of MS Office/ Canva/ AI Tools etc.

Age: Should not be more than 45 years as on 01.01.2026.

Scope of Work/ Job Responsibilities: Develop creative concepts, themes, and narratives for proposed exhibitions (physical and digital); Prepare concept notes, exhibition layouts, and preliminary design plans; Conduct background research on artists, artifacts, museum collections, and cultural themes; Prepare curatorial texts, captions, wall panels, catalogue/ Boucher, content, educational material and publicity material; Ensure cultural accuracy, historical relevance, and thematic coherence; Coordinate with graphic designers, exhibition fabricators, and technical teams; Provide specifications for printing, mounting, framing, and installation of exhibition; Liaise with national and international museums, cultural institutions, artists, and galleries; Coordinate with government bodies, Missions abroad, and partner organizations; Facilitate communication between vendors, logistic teams, and the commissioning authority; Prepare drafts of MoUs, notes, proposals, and budget estimates related to exhibitions; Provide documentation for shipping, insurance, loan agreements, and artwork movement.
