Kerala Responsible Tourism Mission invites online applications for one-year Mission Coordinator post, apply by November 22

The Kerala Responsible Tourism Mission Society (KRTMS), Thiruvananthapuram, an autonomous body under the Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala, promoting sustainable and community-based tourism across the state and focusing on local livelihood generation through enterprises, homestays, handicrafts and agri-tourism, while ensuring women’s empowerment, environmental protection and cultural preservation, has invited applications for one position of Mission Coordinator on contract basis for a period of one year.
The details of the position are as follows:
Qualification
Applicant should hold a Post Graduate Degree in Economics/ Social Science/ Tourism/ Gandhian Studies/Rural Development/Social Work/ Environmental Science/ Disaster Management with 60% marks.
Desirable
At least one Published article/ Paper related with Tourism/ Responsible Tourism/ Community Empowerment; cleared UGC/JRF/ NET/SET Examination.
Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Responsible Tourism Project or Community Empowerment or Economic Development Projects implemented directly by the Government or through any designated agencies.
Desirable experience
Experience in responsible Tourism activities, Research experience, Experience in Community Development Programmes.
Upper age limit is 50 years. The cut-off date for upper age limit and experience is 01.11.2025.
Monthly Consolidated Pay will be Rs. 30000/-
The engagement will be purely on a contract basis. The rank list shall remain valid for a period of three years from the date of its publication.
