
Global Business Operations, Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, Maurice Nagar, Delhi-110 007; has invited applications for admission to its two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Operations (PGDGBO), 2025- 2027.
The GBO Programme is crafted to furnish a comprehensive understanding of global business dynamics, with a particular focus on the ramifications of international commerce and the specialized competencies indispensable for conducting business ventures across borders in the context of economic liberalization, globalization, expansion of Indian corporations abroad, establishment of several multinational corporations (MNCs) within the country leading to a demand for adept professionals capable of navigating the complexities of an ever-evolving international landscape.
Consequently, proficiency in international business operations has become a requisite attribute within the corporate sector.
Course curriculum includes:
Indian Business Environment, Economics for Managers, Financial Management, Principles of Marketing, Quantitative Techniques, Organisational Psychology, Computer Applications in Business; Global Business Environment; Accounting for Business; Legal Environment for Global Business; India's Foreign Trade and Policies; Cross-Cultural Buying Behaviour; international Financial System; Transnational Marketing; Documentation for Global Trade; Human Resource Management; Business Policy and Strategic Management; International Financial Management; International Trade-Blocks and Agreements; Procedures and Logistics for Global Trade; international Investment Management; Social and Ethical Issues in Business. There will also be Summer Training and Project.

Eligibility: Applicant should hold a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, OBC, CW, and PwBD categories). Those appearing in the final semester/year of their undergraduate degree program are eligible to take the entrance test. However, admission will only be granted to those shortlisted candidates who can provide proof of their qualifying degree results at the time of admission, as per the scheduled dates.
Selection: Admission will be based on an objective-type online test of 2 hours’ duration to be held from 3 pm to 5 pm on 22 nd February, 2025, followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (P1).
The online test will consist of the following sections:
- English Comprehension and Language Ability
- Quantitative Ability
- Logical Ability/Reasoning
- Data Interpretation
Each section will have 25 multiple-choice questions, with four options for each question. Candidates must select one correct answer. Each question carries 4 marks. 1 mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer.
The online test will be held at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Delhi-NCR, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Ranchi and Varanasi.
Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI):
Group Discussion: Candidates will participate in a group discussion on a given topic.
Personal Interview: Candidates will be assessed on their personality, communication skills, and general knowledge in the fields of management and international business.
GDPI Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) will be held at Shri Rain College of Commerce, Delhi.
Final merit list: Weightage for final merit list will be as follows: Online Test: 75%;
GDPI: 25% (Group Discussion: 10%; Personal Interview: 15%).

Fees: Registration fee is Rs. 2,500/- (Rs. 1,500/- for SC, ST, CW, EWS, and PwBD
