The Directorate of Education (DoE), Government of Delhi, has announced the commencement of online registration for Class 11 Non-Plan Admissions for the academic session 2025–26. The registration process will open at 12:00 noon on 27 May 2025.

It is available to students residing in Delhi who have passed Class 10 from recognised boards other than government and government-aided schools under the DoE.

Students who have completed Class 10 in the 2024–25 academic session from Delhi Government or Government-Aided Schools under the Directorate are not eligible to apply through this module. Such students are required to consult their previous schools directly for intra-departmental transfers.

Three admission cycles announced

Admissions will be conducted in three distinct cycles, offering flexibility and extended opportunities for eligible candidates. The complete schedule for all three cycles has been announced by the Directorate.

Where and how to apply

Eligible students must register through the official website of the Directorate: www.edudel.nic.in. The registration link is available under the "Govt. School Admissions" section on the homepage. 

For parents or guardians needing assistance, help desks have been established at nearby government schools to provide guidance with filling and submitting the online application form.

Who should not apply

It is important to reiterate that students who have passed Class 10 in the 2024–25 session from Delhi Government or Government-Aided Schools under the Directorate should not apply via this process. Instead, they should approach their respective schools directly for further procedures, particularly if seeking a transfer to another government school.

Stream-wise academic eligibility criteria

Candidates are advised to familiarise themselves with the stream-specific academic requirements before applying.

Science stream

  • Students opting for the Science stream must have obtained a minimum of 55 percent aggregate marks in Class 10.
  • For Science with Mathematics, students must have scored at least 50 percent in English, 50 percent in Standard Mathematics or Mathematics, and 50 percent in Science.
  • For Science without Mathematics, the same 55 percent aggregate applies. However, the Mathematics requirement is slightly relaxed—students must have secured either 40 percent in Standard Maths/Mathematics or 45 percent in Basic Maths, along with 50 percent in English and 50 percent in Science.

Commerce stream

  • Students interested in the Commerce stream must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 50 percent.
  • For Commerce with Mathematics, eligibility further requires at least 45 percent in English, 50 percent in Standard Mathematics or Mathematics, and 45 percent in Social Science.
  • For Commerce without Mathematics, candidates must have secured 45 percent in either English or Hindi and 45 percent in Social Science, in addition to meeting the 50 percent overall aggregate requirement.

Humanities stream

  • To be eligible for the Humanities stream, a student must have been declared ‘Pass’ in the Class 10 examination by CBSE or any equivalent board.
  • To opt for Economics as a subject within the Humanities stream, students must have secured at least 45 percent aggregate marks.
  • For those choosing Mathematics within the Humanities stream, a minimum of 50 percent in Standard Mathematics or Mathematics is required.
