The MG Hector Facelift is available in five trims—Style, Select Pro, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro—spread across seven variants

MG Motor India has officially introduced the mid-life update for its flagship SUV, the Hector. The refreshed Hector has been launched with an introductory ex-showroom price starting at ₹11.99 lakh, and bookings are now open. Notably, the new pricing undercuts the outgoing model by nearly ₹2 lakh, making the updated SUV more accessible than before.
The 2026 MG Hector Facelift carries subtle yet noticeable cosmetic revisions. Up front, it features a redesigned grille with hexagonal inserts, while the bumpers remain unchanged. The SUV continues to use the same LED headlamp and DRL setup but now adds black wheel-arch cladding, refreshed side cladding, and a shark-fin antenna. The alloy wheels have been redesigned and remain 18 inches in size, wrapped in 215/55 profile tyres. Two new exterior paint options, Celadon Blue and Pearl White, have also been added to the palette.
Interior and Features
Inside, the Hector receives a revamped cabin finished in a new dual-tone Urban Tan theme. The highlight is the new 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system with MG’s i-Swipe gesture controls. Using this system, two-finger gestures adjust climate settings, while three-finger swipes control audio functions such as track selection and volume.
The SUV continues to offer premium features like a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, horizontal AC vents, an Infinity by Harman audio system, digital auto key with proximity-based lock and unlock, and multiple seating layouts. Buyers can choose between five-, six-, and seven-seat configurations, with the seven-seater layout exclusive to the Hector Plus. The infotainment system also includes a VRAM module that can be expanded up to 10GB.
On the safety front, the updated Hector is well equipped with Level 2 ADAS, six airbags as standard, and a 360-degree surround-view camera.
Variants
The MG Hector Facelift is available in five trims—Style, Select Pro, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro—spread across seven variants. Four variants are offered in a five-seat configuration, while three variants are available as seven-seaters. Power comes from a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 141 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission.
