Apple has officially set the date for its “Awe Dropping” launch event on September 9, 2025, where the new iPhone 17 series will take centre stage. The upcoming models are expected to deliver notable upgrades across the lineup, with design tweaks and fresh colour options drawing particular attention for the Pro variants.

iPhone 17 series expected colour options

Leaks suggest that Apple is preparing a broader colour palette for its latest lineup.

The iPhone 17 is likely to arrive in Black, White, Steel Grey, Green, Purple, and Light Blue.

The iPhone 17 Air, a lighter alternative, may be offered in Black, White, Light Blue, and Light Gold finishes.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max could stand out with an exclusive selection, expected to include Black, White, Grey, Dark Blue (dubbed “Mood Indigo”) and a striking Orange shade. These premium tones are anticipated to distinguish the Pro models from the standard versions.

iPhone 17 series storage variants and pricing

The iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air are tipped to be available in three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Reports also suggest that Apple might introduce a price adjustment, with the iPhone 17 starting between ₹80,000 and ₹85,000, while the iPhone 17 Air could be priced around ₹90,000.

On the higher end, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will reportedly launch in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB variants. Unlike the standard editions, these will not offer 128GB as an entry-level configuration. The Pro is expected to be priced around ₹1,25,000, whereas the Pro Max could fall in the ₹1.50 lakh to ₹1.60 lakh bracket.

While leaks and rumours have painted a promising picture of the iPhone 17 range, the confirmed details will only arrive during Apple’s September event. Until then, buyers can expect fresh colours, new storage choices, and possible price shifts across the lineup.
