'One bridge or power plant': Trump issues fresh threat to Iran over Hormuz
Washington DC: US President Donald Trump has issued one of his strongest warnings yet against Iran, stating that any attack on ships in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz would lead to American strikes on Iranian infrastructure.
In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said that if Iran targets a ship in the Strait of Hormuz using missiles, rockets, drones or any other weapon, the United States would respond by destroying a bridge or power plant in Iran.
He specifically warned that such targets could include infrastructure located near or inside Tehran, Iran's capital.

Trump wrote that from this point onward, any Iranian attack on a ship in the Strait of Hormuz would result in the US bombing and destroying "one bridge or power plant".
