MP Hibin Eden acquitted of charges in Solar sexual harassment case

Kochi: Congress MP Hibi Eden has been acquitted of charges in the solar sexual harassment case. The Thiruvananthapuram CGM court has approved the CBI report citing lack of conclusive evidence against the young Congress leader. Along with this, the court also dismissed the petition filed by the complainant for not taking the CBI report into consideration.

Hibi Eden was indicted for sexually harassing the accused in the solar scam at the MLA hostel when he was a member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly. The CBI investigated the case, and submitted a report at the court, indicating lack of substantial evidence against the MP. Amidst this, the complainant filed a petition at the court pleading to dismiss the CBI report.
