Bengaluru is buzzing with excitement as fans of actor Vijay prepare for the grand release of Jananayagan on July 23. Supporters gathered outside theatres across the city, bursting crackers, installing towering cut-outs, putting up banners, and decorating cinema halls to celebrate the film's arrival. Fan associations have also organised special events to mark what is being promoted as Vijay's final film before taking over as Tamil Nadu chief minister. Produced by KVN Productions, Jananayagan is set for a massive global release across nearly 8,000 screens in 30 countries and Indian states. The production house said the version releasing in theatres has been extensively re-edited, with new footage, songs, and several changes added during a seven-month delay. The official title card now refers to Vijay as the "Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu" and includes references to his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, while complying with the CBFC's required edits.
