‘Adiyodu adi...’ New ‘Thudakkam’ BTS video gives a peek into Vismaya’s action scenes | WATCH
The makers of 'Thudakkam', starring Vismaya Mohanlal in the lead, have released another behind-the-scenes video from the film. The new footage gives viewers a closer look at the making of some of Vismaya's action sequences, which were among the parts of the film that drew attention in theatres.
Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, the film marked Vismaya's acting debut and also featured a guest appearance by her father, Mohanlal. The presence of the veteran actor was one of the elements that added to the curiosity around the film before its release.
The latest BTS video focuses on the work that went into the action portions of 'Thudakkam'.

Vismaya, who took on an action-heavy role for the film, can be seen preparing for and filming some of the sequences. The behind-the-scenes footage offers a look at what went on away from the finished frames audiences saw on the big screen.

The film arrived in theatres on August 7 under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, with Antony Perumbavoor producing it. There was also considerable interest in the project because it marked Jude Anthany Joseph's first directorial outing after the blockbuster '2018'.
While 'Thudakkam' received a strong response on its opening day, reactions became more mixed over the following days. Vismaya's performance, however, received appreciation, particularly for the way she handled the physically demanding portions of the film. Ashish Jose Antony, son of producer Antony Perumbavoor, also plays a prominent role in the movie and received praise from audiences.

'Thudakkam' features Vismaya Mohanlal in the lead as Meenu, with Aashish Joe Antony also playing a key role. The film has a supporting cast that includes Mohanlal in a special appearance, along with Sai Kumar, Jaffer Idukki, Manoj K. Jayan, K. B. Ganesh Kumar, Kottayam Ramesh, Bobby Kurian, Jaya Kurup, Gibin Gopinath and Chippy.
The film also has an unusual on-screen performer in Messi, the Labrador who plays Meenu's pet dog. Director Jude Anthany Joseph has revealed that the dog was initially named Harry, but the name was changed to Messi because the animal responded better to it.
Jakes Bejoy has composed the music, while Jomon T. John handled cinematography.
Despite the mixed word of mouth after its opening, Thudakkam has put up a decent run at the box office. According to figures from tracking site Sacnilk, the film has collected around ₹33 crore worldwide, including approximately ₹18 crore from India and ₹15 crore from overseas markets.
